Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Goa and North Goa. Explore the beaches
On arriving at the Goa Airport or the railway station, you will be met by a representative of Travel People India and will be assisted in transfer to your pre-booked hotel. After check-in and freshening up, you will rest in your hotel for some hours, then your North Goa tour will begin.
Your first destination is Forte Aguada, a well-preserved 17th-century Portuguese Fort designed to guard against the invaders. From here, enjoy the amazing scenes of the Arabian Sea. Next, go to the Calangute Beach, which is known for its wide sandy stretch and beach edge. Spend some time relaxing, sip coconut water or enjoy snacks.
Continue on Baga Beach, famous for its vibrant environment and water sports. If you are interested (not involving the cost) then you can go paragliding, jet skiing or banana boat riding. Later, go to Anjun Beach to locate a luxurious place to walk from the Rocky coast or the local flea market for souvenirs and handicrafts.
In the evening, you can choose the option of Mandovi River Sunset Cruise (optional), which provides beautiful views of a Goan dance performance, music, and the banks of the river. After a cruise or a trip to the beach, return to your hotel, enjoy dinner on leave, and rest for the night.
Day 2 : South Goa and Heritage Tour
After breakfast, start your second day with the Heritage Tour of Old Goa, the historical part of the city. Visit the bom of Jesus, where the remains of St. Francis Xavier are placed. This 400-year-old Church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also visit SE Cathedral, which is one of the largest churches in Asia.
Next, proceed to Panjim City. Explore the attractive Fontanhas Latin quarters filled with colored Portuguese-style houses, old cafes, and art galleries. Walk in this peaceful area and take beautiful pictures.Continue your journey from a cool beach, Miramar Beach, located near the city. From here, Donna Paula, go to a romantic and beautiful approach, known for its legends and stunning sequences of the sea.Later, drive to South Goa to rest on peaceful beaches like Kolva Beach, which is known for its white sand and calm surroundings. Depending on your energy and time, you can also see the perfect and beautiful destination, Palolam Beach for an evening walk.Return to the hotel by evening. Enjoy dinner in a local beach hut or your hotel restaurant, then relax for the night.
Day 3 : Holiday Time and Departure
On the last day, enjoy a comfortable breakfast in your hotel. Depending on your departure program, you can take a short walk on the beach, shop for the last-minute souvenirs in the nearby market, or simply enjoy resort features like a swimming pool or garden area.
