Itinerary
Day 1 : North Goa Beach and Fort Aguada
Your journey starts as a representative of Travel People India will receive you in Goa Airport, railway station or your hotel. After being warmly welcomed, you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Once you check and are refreshed, exit to detect the stunning sites of North Goa.
Your first stop will be Forte Aguada, which is the 17th -century fort, that offers panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. This is an ideal place for photos and learning about the Portuguese past of Goa. Subsequently, go to popular places for SINQ Beach, Candolim, and Calangute Beach- Clean sand, comfortable shade and water games. You can enjoy snacks or drinks in the beach cafe while looking at the waves.
Later, continue on Baga Beach, which is known for its vibrant vibe and local markets. If you are interested, you can try alternative water activities such as jet skiing, a banana boat ride, or parasailing (not included). As soon as the day winds move, go to the famous Anjuna Beach, where you can shop in the flea market or simply sit with the rocks and enjoy the sunset.
If you want to finish the day with a touch of culture, you can choose the option of Mandovi River Sunset Cruise, which has beautiful views with Goan folk music, dance and river (separately purchased tickets). Return to your hotel, enjoy dinner on your holiday, and relax for the night.
Day 2 : Old Goa Church, Panjim City, and Departure
After the initial breakfast, check out of your hotel and start the second day of the tour. Start moving towards Old Goa, where you will visit a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bomb Jesus' famous Basilica. This church holds the remains of St. Francis Xavier and is known for its baroque architecture and peaceful setting. The bus nearby has SE Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Asia.
Next, drive to Panjim, the capital of Goa. Walk through the attractive streets of the Latin quarters of Fontanhas, where you will see the colorful Portuguese-style houses, old cafes, and art galleries. It is a great place to take pictures and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. Stop by a local bakery or enjoy snacks from a cafe before going to the next place.
Then go to Miramar Beach, a peaceful and clean beach, and Donna Paula's approach, which offers scenes of the breathtaking sea and is popular among Bollywood lovers. It is a great place to take in fresh air and click on some magnificent photos before the tour is over.If time is allowed, you can visit local markets or shop for cashew nuts, spices and souvenirs. Finally, your driver will leave you at your desired place in the airport, railway station, or Goa, marking the end of your 2-day trip.
