Day 1 : Welcome and the tour of North Goa.

Morning Welcome  

In the morning, you will come to Goa by train or aircraft. Introduce yourself to the group and take them to your hotel. Breakfast, clean up and check-in. We will briefly welcome you in a very short welcome meeting during which you will get to know the plan, meet other women. The adventure begins thereafter.  

 

Forts & Views  

We shall first go to Aguada Fort, a great fort constructed by the Portuguese. Stroll along the walls, observe the old lighthouse and look at the Arabian Sea. It is an excellent place to have group photos. Then visit Chapora Fort that has starred in Bollywood films. It has a beautiful view of Vagator Beach and the blue sea, which is seen on the top. 

 

Beach Time  

And now go to the popular beaches of North Goa. Begin with Calangute Beach which is the Queen of Beaches. Stroll on the golden sand, experience the sea breeze and capture photos with your company. Then go to Baga Beach, which is energetic. You may sit at the shacks, drink coconut water or have snacks.  

Local Lunch  

Have lunch in a local restaurant. Take a taste of Goan vegetarian cuisine such as rice, curry, vegetables, salads and dessert. The team is able to share narratives, laugh and eat collectively.  

 

Shopping Fun  

Lunch, then go to the Anjuna Flea Market or Mapusa Market. These bazaars are stacked with clothes, jewelry, bags, souvenirs and handicraft. The group of women is able to shop collectively, negotiate and purchase gifts to their family members and friends. The process of shopping in Goa is entertaining and there is music and laughter.  

 

Evening Entertainment  

Gather once again in the evening at the Baga Beach to listen to music and live shows. Others might be inclined to rest on the waves and others dance with the group. We can watch the sunset and have golden-hour photographs together.  

Dinner & Stay  

Return to the hotel. Have dinner with the group. There can be music filled night, chat and games that will be available to the women traveling. Sleep overnight in Goa.

Day 2 : South Goa & Departure

Morning Calm  

Get up early, take a breakfast. To-day we are to have a trip to South Goa, more quiet and fair. Begin with Miramar Beach which is a small, quiet beach where one can walk on soft sands and observe fishermen. Thence to Dona Paula Point, a very well known place where the rivers flow into the sea. It is well situated with a beautiful view and is connected with some interesting stories of the place.  

 

Temples & Churches  

Then, go to Shanta Durga Temple which is a beautiful temple with a serene environment where most of the locals visit to seek blessings. Take your time and have a serene atmosphere. Then go to Bom Jesus Basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This is a large church of Portuguese antique style, and highly renowned. Explore and find out its history.  

 

Cultural Touch  

Go to Se Cathedral, another admirable church with high towers and silent interior. A tour through these heritage sites will provide an idea about the culture and history of Goa. The group photographs can be made in the open spaces near the churches.  

Relaxing Lunch  

In the afternoon, have lunch in a South Goan restaurant. The group of women has the opportunity to find some shopping experience stories of Day 1, discuss the beaches, and laugh. Lunch may be a plain vegetarian meal with Goan spices.  

 

Leisure & Garden Visit  

The next thing to visit is Colva Beach, a quiet and clean beach, after lunch. Rest by the beach, have last group pictures and listen to waves. Having time, you may visit a spice garden where black pepper, cardamom, and other plants may be seen. Guides give information about the uses of spices, and you are able to taste the herbal drinks.  

 

Evening Shopping & Snacks  

Last minute shopping at the local Panjim Market before leaving. Women are able to purchase cashews, Goa sweets, small trinkets and colorful dresses. Eat evening snacks such as bhaji-pao, samosas or sweet bebinca.  

Farewell & Departure  

During the evening, go back to the hotel and pick up bags. Then to the railway-station or the airport. Bid adieu to new friends acquired on this women’s special tour. All people go back home with the recollection of laughter, beaches, shopping, culture and bonding of the group.
