Itinerary
Day 1 : Delhi Arrival and evening blessings.
On the initial day, the group lands in Delhi, the Indian capital. Once in the hotel, it is time to sleep and have a shower. The trip starts in the afternoon with a brief ride to India Gate which is a great war memorial. The lawns are serene and the area is very spacious, creating a sense of reverence and introspection though it is not a religious place. Later the group goes to Birla Mandir (Lakshmi Narayan Temple). It is a lovely stone temple constructed using the red and white stone, which is devoted to Lord Vishnu and goddess Lakshmi. Evening Aarti will be conducted with the usage of bells and reciting which provide a divine beginning of the tour. Old women are able to sit down calmly and partake in prayers.
The night completes with a journey to Lodhi Garden; the tombs of the old rulers are situated in green lawns. It is a secure, open-space where one can take a slow stroll, take pictures and unwind before going back to the hotel to have dinner and spend the night.
Day 2 : Spiritual Delhi Tour
The group begins by visiting the grand Akshardham Temple, which is one of the biggest contemporary temples in the world after breakfast. Lord Swaminarayan is the god of the temple that exhibits Indian culture in the form of carvings, gardens, and exhibitions. Women are also able to pace around, sit by the fountain and participate in prayers. The group then visits Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, which is the holy Sikhs shrine after lunch. It boasts of a beautiful pond and a golden dome and a prayer hall with melodious kirtans. The langar (free kitchen) here is another demonstration of the worth of equality because it provides simple meals to everyone. Later in the evening, the group visits the place of Mahatma Gandhi that is his resting place in Raj Ghat. It is a serene setting to put an end to the day due to the eternal flame and the green lawns. Overnight stay in Delhi, after dinner.
Day 3 : New Delhi to Agra -Taj Mahal and Temples.
The group then drives to Agra which is approximately 4 hours after the breakfast. Upon arrival, they are admitted to the hotel and they sleep. The sightseeing of Taj Mahal starts in the afternoon. This is not just the monument of love, but it is also a monument of prayer and eternity made out of white marble. The surrounding gardens are serene, and elderly ladies have the opportunity to take their seats on benches and to view the scene without being in a rush. Then there is Mankameshwar Temple, which is one of the oldest temples of Lord Shiva in Agra. Here it is believed that wishes are being fulfilled. The group is able to participate in the aarti and experience the atmosphere of devotion. They later on visit Dayal Bagh which is the sacred site of Radhasoami faith. The marble temple is yet to be completed though it does look magnificent with elegant carvings. Meditation and reflection is possible in the tranquil environment. Sightseeing in Agra and staying overnight.
Day 4 : Jaipur- Fatehpur Sikri- Agra.
The party then begins to move towards Jaipur after breakfast. Along the way, they visit Fatehpur Sikri, the former Mughal capital. In this case, they pay the Jama Masjid and dargah of Sufi saint Salim Chishti. A lot of visitors attach the threads at the shrine hoping that their prayers will be answered. The serene courtyards and the spirituality are good reasons to visit it. The group enters Jaipur in the night after furthering the drive. Upon arrival at the hotel, they go to Birla Temple, which is a shining white marble temple of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. During the night when the lights cast over the temple it appears magical. Evening and a night in Jaipur.
Day 5 : Holy Jaipur Exploration
The day starts with the visit of Govind Dev Ji Temple which is one of the most significant temples of Lord Krishna in Rajasthan. The shrine is deeply religious and thousands of individuals visit the temple every day. The morning aarti, bhajans are a beautiful experience. The group then goes to Galtaji Temple, the Monkey Temple. It is a sacred complex consisting of natural springs, small shrines and sacred water tanks. Devotees take a bath in this area and the surrounding hills make it beautiful. The women can go shopping in the evening at the Bapu Bazaar where idols, prayer beads and handicrafts are sold. Dine and spend the night at a hotel.
Day 6 : Delhi - Return and Departure.
The group drives back to Delhi after breakfast. Upon arrival, they go to the ISKCON Temple, a temple of the Lord Krishna devotion. The temple boasts of beautiful idols, kirtans and chanting, which make the heart content. The group can later on visit the Dilli Haat where they can purchase some final souvenirs and get light snacks. Later in the evening, they travel to the airport or the railway station to take off with blessings, memories and smiles out of this spiritual adventure.
