Day 1 : Arrival in Panjim

That is why your heritage tour is realized when you arrive at the capital of Goa Panjim. When you arrive at the airport or the railway station, you would be taken to your hotel after being received warmly. Evening: Pay a visit to a pleasant walk through the lovely cardinal gallery of Mandovi River. Improve the colonial structures and floating casinos and the colorful street markets surrounding. Given time, see the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception with its white exterior, its staircases zigzag in shape and its panoramas of the city.

Day 2 : Churches Basilica of Bom Jesus and Sé cathedral, Old Goa.

After the breakfast, goa tour, visit the center of the church heritage in Goa and UNESCO world heritage. Start with the Basilica of Bom Jesus where the holy remains of St. Francis Xavier as well as are housed and teeming with unbelievable architecture in the baroque style. And then proceed to visit the great Sé Cathedral, dedicated to St. Catherine and marked by the gigantic Goldfish Bell and the Portuguese-Gothic style. Day 3 : Archaeological Museum and Church of St. Cajetan.

Pay your first visit to an exquisite Church of St. Cajetan, in imitation of St. Peter at Basilica in Rome. It is a great show of European architecture in India as it has Corinthian style pillars and a domed roof. Next, visit the Archaeological Museum of Old Goa and the location where you will get a treasure trove of artifacts, sculptures, and paintings of the Portuguese era. Then take a relaxed lunch in one of the Goan restaurants there and spend the evening in Panjim in the Latin Quarter shopping for souvenirs.

Day 4 : Villages of Hidden Chapels and Bardez.

To-day, come to Bardez, and quiet villages and unknown churches. Visit Mae De Deus Church, Saligao, palm tree-designed white Gothic designed church. Go to mini chapels in the crannies of lanes, with another version of Goan religion and culture. Explore a vintage bakery and sample the recently baked Goan bread (pão) and take your time exploring the green paddy fields and coconut tree groves at a slow and scenic pace.

Day 5 : Mapusa and St. Jerome Church.

Breakfast then goes to Mapusa, a bustling town with its bustling Friday market and beautiful heritage sites. Visit the St. Jerome Church erected in the beginning of the 18 th century that is located on the top of the hill and commands the entire view of the immediate surroundings. Spend some few hours at the local markets where spices, handcrafts and Goan sweets are available. In the evening, take a coffee in a cafe or visit a sunset in such local beaches as SinQ or Coco beach. Overnight Stay: Mapusa

Day 6 : Leisure Beach, Anjuna and Vagator Church.

Move to the coastal belt of Anjuna and Vagator in which superb beaches blend attractive churches. Visit the small village churches such as the St. Michael Church in Anjuna that are very simple yet dramatic design and peaceful. After sightseeing the heritage sites, you have to rest and part of the day in the colorful beaches, the flea market and beautiful Vagator cliffs. Dine in a beach shack, having a Goan seafood meal and enjoy the sunset in the Arabian Sea.

Day 7 : Departure from North Goa


You can even have the final day of your vacation relaxing with your breakfast in your hotel before you check out.During a brief morning stroll in the Latin Quarter of Fontainhas in Panjim, depending on when you take it out, you will come across colored Portuguese houses and small lanes, which make up a postcard image.You will then be on the road carrying a carry-on to the airport or railway station and what will remain behind you will all be the harmonious memories of the splendid churches and the beautiful heritage of North Goa.
