Morning: Visit to Murdeshwar Temple.

The day begins early enough so that you will be able to explore all the three places at a very relaxed pace. Light breakfast, and then drive to Murdeshwar, on the Karnataka coast. The tall statue of Lord Shiva in the Arabian sea is the first thing that can be seen. It is the second tallest Shiva statue in the world and a very popular Sacred place.Enter the Murdeshwar Temple at a little hill by the sea. The temple is carved, has idols and a serene spiritual atmosphere. A 20-story tower, the Raja Gopura, provides tourists with an opportunity to ride a lift to the top to have a view of the sea, the beaches, and the green hills. It is as though one is in the center of the ocean and waves are on each side.

Pray, ring the temple bells, and make photographs of the great statue. Families and children are fond of climbing the steps and observing the waves of the sea hitting the rocks. Murdeshwar beach is nearby and can be walked upon. The mornings are not too busy, and you may sit down and have a listen to the water.Once this spiritual adventure begins, begin the trip to Palolem Beach. The motivation is tasty and has coastal resorts, small cities and coconuts.

Afternoon.:Palolem Beach Relaxation 

It is afternoon by the time you get to Palolem Beach. Palolem is a crescent-shaped beach in South Goa that is beautiful and clean, and as a result, when you are in the center of the beach, you can view both ends of the beach.Have a typical Goan lunch in a beach shack. Have seafood curry, vegetarian thali or some basic snacks, such as pakoras and fries. The shacks offer tropical juices and coconuts which are cool in the sun.Spend the afternoon on the warm golden sands. Lovers stroll together by the beach, families construct sand castles and children gather shells. There is also a short boat ride off the beach. These boats at times venture out to the sea and you can watch dolphins jumping.

Palolem is known to have still water, hence it is safe to do light swimming and splashing on shore. Palm trees that form the beach form a perfect backdrop to photography.Give us about two hours of rest and play, and proceed to Gokarna, where we shall have our last day-stop of the day.

Evening: Om Beach and Gokarna Temples.

At the end of the afternoon, reach Gokarna, a small town in Karnataka which is a pilgrimage place and a beach town. Begin by going to Mahabaleshwar Temple of Lord Shiva. The temple is quite ancient, is Dravidian and has a serene feeling. Numerous pilgrims of the entire India come to Gokarna and pray.

The next destination after the temple is the Om Beach, which is one of the most popular beaches in Gokarna. The natural shape of the beach resembles the sacred Mark OM ( 0 ). The landscape of the cliff over the beach is fabulous - one can observe how the sand curves are touching the blue sea.

 

Evening:Visit the Beach

Spend the evening wandering on the sand, or merely sitting along the shore. Om Beach has got fame due to its sunsets. The sky also changes to orange, pink and purple as the sun sets in the sky, bouncing off the water. It is a quiet and romantic time for couples and a funny time for families to take group photos.You can drink tea or eat small snacks in small cafes on the beach. The end of the tour is memorable due to the calm waves, evening breeze and the golden sky.

At night it is time to go back. The journey home is not a rush and everyone is left with a memory of a day that consisted of temples, beaches, food, and fun- all in one.
