Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival at Starting Point.
The Dolphin Day Tour would start in the morning when you arrive at the point of commencement which is typically close to the popular beaches such as Calangute, Candolim, Baga or SinQ. It will help you with a friendly guide who will briefly brief you on the tour and safety guidelines. Then you will get to spend on a comfortable boat that has been specially made to see dolphins. The salty sea air, the swells, and an early morning sunset are the best beginning to your adventure.
Day 2 : Dolphin Watching at the Arabian Sea.
When the boat is out into the deeper waters of the Arabian Sea, watch the waves so that you see dolphins leaping and swimming about. These amiable animals frequently come in parties, and skip riotously in and out of the water, and even enter into the water with the boat. They are also a pleasant sight to see in their natural environment as they play. The boatmen are used to the area and they will direct you and make you find the dolphins with ease. Trying not to miss such picturesque moments on your camera, you should admire the calm beauty of the open sea.
Day 3 : Breath-taking Beach and scene
Upon dolphin sighting, the boat proceeds to the journey presenting some of the known coastal sites in Goa. You will have an opportunity to see the great Aguada Fort that is on the sea, the old Portuguese houses, and small fishing villages in which residents are still leading the traditional life. The water views the golden beaches bordered with coconut palms which appear even more magnificent. In some of the tours, you will equally have a visit to the beaches which are hidden, where you can have a rest, take photographs or just enjoy the tranquility.
Day 4 : Free and Leisure Water Sports
You could also get to do some optional activities such as fishing, snorkeling or swimming depending on the tour package. Goan waters are also clear and thus the waters are ideal to take a refreshing dip or to explore under water world. You can just sit back and enjoy the view of the boundless ocean and have the sea breeze as you remain in the boat. Soft beverages and light snacks are usually served on the board to ensure that you are fresh throughout the journey.
Day 5 : Goan Lunch Break
Lots of dolphin tours will provide optional lunch in a beach shack, or even a local Goan restaurant. It is here that you can relish on tasty seafood i.e. fish curry, prawn fry or any Goan specialities accompanied by rice. They also have vegetarian alternatives. The experience of local food is even better with the taste and the beachside atmosphere of the meal.
Day 6 : Going back to the Shore and Departure
The boat slowly sails back to the starting point as the afternoon sun starts to warm up. You can relish the serene scenery of the shining sea, colorful fishing boats and golden coastline on your way back. After reaching the shore you can go back to your hotel or you can have some extra time to go out to the local markets and beaches
