Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival & Beach Walk
Reach Goa and meet our employees. Move into your hotel, take a shower and sleep. Go out with your partner in the evening to see the renowned Calangute Beach also referred to as the Queen of Beaches. A walk on the golden sands, hear the waves and be able to watch the sunset. Then proceed to Baga Beach that is vibrant and active. All you can do is sit in a beach shack, sample some snacks, drink coconut water and enjoy the sea under the lights of the evening. It is the ideal beginning of the honeymoon in Goa. Go back to the hotel to spend the night having a romantic dinner.
Day 2 : North Goa Sightseeing
Tour North Goa after breakfast. See at first the great Fort of Agwada constructed by the Portuguese. Tour through the ancient walls, visit the lighthouse, and have a glimpse of the Arabian Sea. The place is excellent for making honeymoon snaps. Then proceed to Chapora Fort that is used in movies. The top view of the Vagator Beach is marvelous and serene. Following forts go to beaches. See Anjuna Beach which is soft-sanded and serene. Couples are able to sit together, communicate and have a breeze. Next visit Candolim Beach that is not as crowded and very romantic. Have lunch in the afternoon in a local Goan restaurant. Post lunch, visit the Anjuna Flea market to buy souvenirs, shells, jewellery, handicrafts and clothes. It is a nice way of shopping and couples can always purchase little gifts for one another here.
Day 3 : South Goa Highlights
South Goa is peaceful today. You can begin after breakfast with Miramar beach, a quiet beach with golden sand. Next go to Dona Paula Point which is a romantic place where two rivers join the sea. The scene is broad and scenic, and ideal to take pictures. The second place to visit is the Basilica of Bom Jesus, which is a UNESCO world heritage site. It is an old Portuguese church and highly renowned. Spend some quiet time inside. Next stop at the Se Cathedral which is one of the largest Asian churches. In the afternoon, go to the Shanta Durga Temple, which is a serene temple with greenery. Couples like to sit and have a nice relaxing time. Thereafter visit the Colva Beach which is a tranquil one. Stroll on the fine sand, observe fishermen at work, and rest on the beach.
Day 4 : Cruise & Leisure
The day is free towards leisure and personal time after breakfast. Couples can have it easy in the hotel and can go swimming or have a spa session. In the later afternoon, go to Dona Paula Jetty to take a Mandovi River Cruise. Traditional Goan dance, music and entertainment will be witnessed in this boat ride. The river is a magical sight with sunset. Following the cruise, have dinner at a restaurant by the river. Lovers are able to enjoy a romantic evening stroll and come back to the hotel. Day 5 : Shopping & Departure
Check out of the hotel on the final day, after breakfast. For shopping visit Panjim Market or Mapusa Market. Couples may purchase cashew nuts, Goan sweets, spices, mini crafts and souvenirs.
There is also the Garden of Five Senses in South Goa, which should be visited, given some time. This is a garden that is full of flowers and sculptures and foot paths. It is a serene area where one can have a final walk together before leaving Goa. Then departure to the airport or railway station.
